About
Noelle Quanci
Queens-based stylist and designer
“Because what we wear speaks.”
The daughter of a chemical engineer and graphic designer, Noelle saw the creativity inherit in both scientific and artist endeavours. A French class in high school led her to complete her first clothing design assignment, to be inspired by native French botanicals- This was the impetus for Noelle to explore continuing her fashion education on a collegiate level. She enrolled in the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology in the heart of Manhattan in 2009, her education at FIT focused equally upon the artistic and technical aspects of the industry and sent her to Milan, Italy to complete her senior thesis collection in collaboration with EuroJersey SpA. Noelle graduated cum laude in 2013 with a concentration in children’s wear and a minor in art history.
Upon graduating, Noelle worked with EuroJersey as a trend assistant and created custom artwork for presentations to be shown to the producers international clients. Following a return to the United States, she accepted a position with Carole Hochman Design Group (now, Komar Brands) in NYC as a colorist and eventually began working as an internal trend analyst. Responsibilities included creating seasonal design presentations for a number of branded and private label teams under the supervision of the VP of Design.
Looking for a new challenge and to try something that scared and excited her, Noelle made a career change in 2016 and began working in film and television. She has had the great fortune to work with the talented costume teams on The Americans, The Affair, The Last OG and Madam Secretary, among others as a production assistant.
Her work now consists mostly of designing and assistant designing for stage and styling services for commercials, branded social content and hosts for Cox Communications, NY Post, as well as Food Network. A lover of print and pattern in her personal sartorial choices, Noelle loves the process of taking her clients to a more fun and fabulous place visually, all the while keeping it cozy- But the greatest joys of her job are exploring the conjunction of style and sustainability as well as supporting small, independent makers- Because what we wear speaks!
